about me (in a 🥜shell)

Hi everyone, I am a super cool (and humble) 23 year old trying to make a difference in the world. I recently graduated from Johns Hopkins University with my BS in Civil Engineering. I am vigorously passionate about the intersection between the built environment, climate change, and social justice. I believe the built environment has the power to strengthen communities by making them more accessible. With that, there are decades of systematic and structural racism embedded in the policies that enforce the built environment around us. These policies accentuate the social determinants that dictate people's well-being within the world we live. With the effects of climate change rapidly accelerating, marginalized communities, the ones suffering from and living in a systemically inequitable society, are the most at-risk. I am on a journey to learn and ultimately help create a truly equitable and accessible world for all people while mitigating the effects of climate change. Join me on this journey as I try to reflect on my learnings and live intentionally.

I am currently pursuing my Master's in Civil Engineering; focusing on designing and implementing Sustainable Urban Systems at Stanford University.
